Bible Study Open Invitation
We would like to extend an open invitation to our Thursday night adult bible study to any and all who are interested, whether a member of St. John's Church or not. Bible study begins at 7 PM and ends promptly at 8:30.
The themes and subjects of our bible studies vary. At times we study specific books of the bible, while other times we are doing discipleship studies to help us strengthen our walks with the Lord. The one constant in our study time is that it is always interesting. There is always something new to learn.
Our newest upcoming bible study is a DVD study called "When the Game is Over, it All Goes Back in the Box." The theme is about setting sound godly and Christian priorities in our lives instead of centering our lives around the chase for more earthly treasure and honor. This new 6 session course will begin January 8th at 7PM.
Please come join us for this great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Christian faith, develop your own relationship with God, and to share in good and fun Christian fellowship. If you are interested in attending and would benefit from child care, please contact me by email at
St. John's Annual Meeting January 18th
Sunday, January 18th will be St. John's Episcopal Church's annual meeting. The meeting will directly follow our normal 11 AM worship service and third Sunday potluck lunch. The vestry asks that all members of St. John's that are able please attend the annual meeting. This is where we elect our vestry members for the year. More importantly, it is where we lay out our plans for ministry for the coming year and make budgetary decisions to help meet those ministry goals. All members of St. John's age 16 and older have full voting priviledges and voice to the discussion.

Christian Book Lending Library Active
Thanks to Sandy Rector for getting the St. John's Christian book lending library catalogued and ready to go. We now have a wealth of good Christian books available for borrowing. All you have to do is choose the book you want, sign your name on the card, and leave the card in the box on the book case. When you are done, return the book and take another. We hope this resource will be beneficial to many of you. Also, feel free to continue donating any Christian books that you own and are done with.
