Services

Everyone is welcome to join us for our worship and fellowship times.

Childrens' Sunday School begins at 10 AM (during the school year). We have classes for every age range.

Sunday Eucharist begins at 11 AM. All are welcome at the service. Those baptised in the name of the Trinity, regardless of Christian denomination, are welcome to receive communion if you so desire.

Thursdays at 6:30 AM we have men's morning prayer service. This service is roughly 15-20 minutes long, and is followed by fellowship over breakfast at the Peddlers. All men (and boys) are welcome.

Thursday Bible Study is from 7-8:30 PM at the church. Topics vary, but are always interesting and intriguing. All are welcome. Bring your bible.

On the third Sunday of every month we have a potluck fellowship meal immediately following our service. We usually begin the meal around noon and we stay as long as the fellowship lasts. This is the perfect time to visit as a guest as it will allow you to see how truly friendly the people of St. John's are.

During certain times of the year, such as Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday, we hold special worship services that are different from normal Sunday worship. These services usually include performances from a vocal ensemble and often have other unique aspects. When we have a special service coming up, it will be posted on our calendar of events page.

We also hold movie nights on a semi-regular basis. Sometimes the movies are meant to be thought provoking with discussion to follow. Other times we just gather for a good Christian movie, such as The Nativity Story during Christmas time. Keep an eye on our calendar of events for the next scheduled movie night.
